BALLYHEIGUE DRAMA GROUP: Presents ‘Sive’ by John B. Keane in the Community
Centre on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October, and Saturday 24th October.
Doors open at 8.00pm on the night and starting at 8.30 (sharp). Admission
€10. This was John B’s first and finest play and rehearsals are well
underway. A new departure for Ballyheigue and promises to be a night not
to be missed. Emerging talent is eye-opening. Does Hollywood beckon???

SAFE/TALK SUICIDE AWARENESS TRAINING WORKSHOP: Takes place Wednesday 7th
October at 6.00pm at Kerryhead/Ballyheigue Family Resource Centre. It is
free and open to the public; the training prepares you to identify persons
with thoughts of suicide and help connect them with the correct suicide
first aid resources. Please call Laura on 066-7116961 to register a
place.
CHOIR WORKSHOP WITH FR.LIAM LAWTON: Choir Workshop will be held on Monday
October 19th at 8.00pm in Church of the Resurrection, Park Road (between
Daly’s roundabout and Tesco roundabout), Killarney. This workshop is open
to all choirs, folk groups, school choirs and musicians. Admission €10 p/p
(includes book of new music). Bookings 064-6632644 before 14th October.
DEATH: The death took place of Deborah Lynch, Ballymacquin, Ardfert,
formerly of New Jersey and Clahaneleish, Ballyheigue, reposing at the
Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Friday 2nd October 2015 with removal to
the Sacred Heart Church, Kilmoyley. Following Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12
noon burial was in the adjoining cemetery. R.I.P.
GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Saturday night’s GAA
Lotto: 3-14-20-27. The Jackpot of €1,800 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot
will be €1,850. The two €50 winners were: Anselm Boyle, Marian Park and
Sean Kenny, Tiduff. The €25 winner was John O’Regan, The Village,
Ballyheigue.
‘EDDIE HAYES’ TOURNAMENT: Congratulations to the Ballyheigue Under-13
hurlers who won the Eddie Hayes Shield when they defeated Kilmoyley in the
final at Dromakee on Saturday. The Ballyheigue panel were: Donal
O’Loughlin, Jack Stack, Aidan Reidy, Jimmy O’Halloran, Colin Walsh, Graham
Slattery, Nathan Guerin (Capt), Tomas Gaynor, Seami O’Fuaráin, Jordan
Goggin, Eric Walsh, Denis Lynch, Conor O’Sullivan. Well done to the Crotta
Club who organised this very well run and enjoyable Tournament and many
thanks also for the refreshments.
UNDER-21: The Ballyheigue/Abbeydorney v Crotta was postponed last
week-end. No date is fixed for the fixture.
WEIGHT WATCHERS: Class Ardfert will resume depending on numbers. If
interested in attending on Tuesdays in The Community Centre at 6.30pm.

in the Ballyheigue and District Coursing Club Lotto: 2-12-22-17. Jackpot
