BALLYHEIGUE NOTES – 5th NOVEMBER 2014

DEATH: The death took place during the week of Mary O’Carroll (née Hare),
Ballylongane, Ballyheigue. Removal was on Sunday evening from Hartnett’s
Funeral Home to St. Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue. Following Requiem Mass,
burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballyheigue on Monday 3rd November,
R.I.P. Sympathy is extended to her family, relatives and friends.

The death also took place of Christina Leahy, Ballinclemessig, Ballyheigue.
Removal on Monday evening from Casey’s Funeral Home, Causeway to St. Mary’s
Church, Ballyheigue. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday 4th November,
burial was in St. James’s Cemetery, Ballyheigue R.I.P. Sympathy is
extended to her sisters and brother, relatives and friends.

BALLYHEIGUE CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: A house to house collection for a 2014
Christmas Bazaar for Ballyheigue will take place on the weekend of Saturday
15th November, the committee are kindly asking for a donation of €5 from
households who are willing to contribute. The bazaar will take place on
Sunday 14th December. Funds raised will go to Bouleenshere National School
and Kerryhead/Ballyheigue Family Resource Centre.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Saturday night’s GAA Lotto:
7-17-26-27. The Jackpot of €4,450 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €4,500. The two €50 winners were: Paddy Reilly, Doon and Richard
O’Mahony, Clahanebawn. The €25 winner was: Teddy Healy, Cliff Road.

2nd - Philip Healy; Tie for 3rd - John Healy and Michael P. Donegan.

FUNDRAISING TABLE QUIZ: In aid of Nikayla Dineen will be held in Harty's
Bar Causeway on Friday 7th November at 9.30pm. Table of 4 €20 with a range
of spot prizes on the night. Your support would be very much appreciated.

NA LEANAI CHILDCARE CENTRE: We will be holding our annual fund-raising
Table Quiz on Friday the 21st of November in Harty's Bar Causeway at 8.30pm.
Table of 4 €20 or €5 per person. Lots of spot prizes. Your support would
be very much appreciated.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 27th October in
the Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 7-13-19-22. Jackpot was
not won. The €50 winner was Irene Horgan, C/o Macs. The €25 winners
were: Geraldine Harris, C/o Kitty, Thomas Roche, C/o Pat Joe, and Dillon
Mahony, C/o Macs. Next week’s Jackpot €2,400.
